I'm raising a chicken egg and today is it's 23rd day do you know if I can use a stethoscope to see if I hear movement or some sort of sound ?

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Ok....what is the temp in your incubator? What is the humidity level? When did you stop turning the egg?

The way to check for life in an egg is by candling it. You can take the egg into a darkened room and use a powerful flashlight and shine the light right into the large end of the egg where the air cell should be. At this point, you should see a very dark egg with a clear air cell at the top of the egg.

You can also do a float test of the egg. Float the egg in room temp water and if it is alive, you should see it rocking and rolling.

Here is are a couple articles from our learning center on candling of eggs and also incubation of eggs...

One of the incubating trends might be just what you need to hook up with and yes it will work very well .......

I just had to toss a couple from the incubator today as they grow but stooped at the last minute and passed just what happens in the incubator .......
