New member in Oakland, CA but where are our eggs

We are a family of four plus 2 German Shepherds and a Siamese living in the Oakland hills. We started with 6 Wyendotts two years ago. One died likely egg bound given the size of the eggs it was laying. One got bit on the head by a skunk and then ostracized by the others until it ran off. We are down to 4. We like them a lot and love to watch them march around the property. When they started laying literally the day they should have, they started with a bang with one a day quite soon. We were giving away eggs left and right. Since last spring we have had virtually no eggs maybe 3 a week if we are lucky. No change in location or feed. They seem quite healthy and active. wondering what I might do to get them to lay again. They are 2 years old right now. Family wants to keep them but having trouble justifying the expense.

They will likely start up again in January. Get a big size bottle of red pepper flakes and give them a couple of tablespoons a day. That will often get them going.

Make a plan to get four new chicks in February or early March. You can trade off the older ones in late summer when the new ones star laying.

There used to be a feed store in the Bay Area that would take chickens
