New member in Warren County, VA

Hello there! I have learned so much from this site! I do have one question though. I recently bought a home in Warren County Virginia (haven't moved in yet).. I just discovered that it is zoned R-1. I read the Warren county code and it does not specifically forbid chickens and livestock, but when I called the zoning office I was told they're not allowed. Any advice??

There maybe a section about your area there or you can start one of your own.
