Personally, I love my two Easter eggers. I love their beards, and the colored eggs.

Easter Eggers are definitely at the top! They're beautiful!

Welcome to our fantastic feathered chicken site. I recommend same as Cat Whisperer, but get two of each breed, my chickens like to hang out in pairs of the same kind.

I think's that what we'll probably do! I just have to talk my husband into it

Hi and welcome to BYC! It's nice to meet you! All of the breeds you're considering are wonderful, I would have a hard time choosing. You can't beat the pretty eggs from an Easter Egger, and my barred Rocks are the friendliest of my flock. Brahmas are really mellow, and RIR are good layers.... I couldn't pick, so I have them all.
