We have never had ANY poultry, so we are starting from scratch.

Thanks everyone, FIVE birds successfully transferred to our single pen. This weekend we will have to build a bigger one for them and save this small one for quarantine situations. I have been reading through the Quail threads and absorbing as much information as quickly as I can - so that hopefully fewer things will take us by surprise.
