Hi,
I've had chickens before, have 5 chickens (hens) now. 2 Barred Rocks, 3 Easter eggers. Got these girls this summer. They live in the chicken equivalent of Fort Knox since we live in the mountains and have critters around who would otherwise like an occasional chicken dinner. When not gazing lovingly at the egg makers, I also do fiber stuff ( knit, spin, fondle), play with grandchildren, read and cook.
I learned about BYC from a neighbor who also has chickens.

Thanks for the reminder. Our ladies have 2 lovely vents in the eaves of their house and one end is only closed off by clear plastic hanging strips. The house doesn't smell bad so I'm guessing that ventilation is adequate, plus, we live in the Colorado mountains, so it is pretty dry here as well.
