Yes she did, I soaked a paper towel in warm water and removed it cause I was worried about the same thing. Thanks!

Pasty butt is common with chicks, depending on the stuff they walk on. A clean brooder is a safe brooder. "sometimes". Answer, just watch them real close. They will love you for it!
