Welcome. Many people with a wealth of knowledge on here. I too started about a year ago with 4 isa and 4 RIR(that all turned out to be roosters...made a couple trades) then shortly thereafter climbed to 13. Lost one to a fox then purchased 9 more chicks from runnings. Now my head count is 20...be careful...chicken math is real. I didn't believe it til I left the store with my 9 newcomers. So a scramble to extend their run(due to predators I must enclose them for their safety and my childs) and build a larger coop was on.
