:welcome :frow If you are planning on an income from selling eggs my advice would be to buy females and don't try to hatch your future layers. It cost to grow them out and you get no return. I do sell my extra males from my hatches but it still doesn't cover the costs. I hatch out a few hundred chicks every year of which around half will be males. They can't be pets. They are livestock.
