There is alot of info to take in, but don't let that overwhelm you, it's pretty easy to care for chickens. (I don't know about guineas though, because I never had any.)

I forgot to check back to this thread and am so appreciative of all the welcomes. I have been on this site, and reading about so many things.

Hubby has also been around to read and is looking at incubators, yikes, slow down, we have much to learn, and certainly not ready to hatch. Of course he agrees.

We show dogs so breed standards are easy to read, and some day maybe we will venture into the chicken breeding.

looking forward to learning and I too have searched google for answers and always end up pointed to here.
