Hi! We're anthony and Jamie, we live in south Alabama, we have just started our little farm.. We now have 1 polish rooster, 1 full grown polish hen, a dominque hen, 9 chicks: 3 anericanas, 4 wayondottes, 2 leghorn, 3 turkeys, 1 goose, 6 ducks, 3 goats and of course our 3 spoiled rotten dogs. We are excited to start this journey and very eager to learn and see what happens next!

Hi :welcome Anthony and Jamie

Glad you could join the flock! What a lovely mixed flock you have there plus your goats and dogs. I would love some goats but just don't have the room at the moment. I too have polish chickens and just love them such a friendly and curious breed of chicken.

Wishing you the very best of luck with your new farm in the future. Hope you enjoy BYC, I am sure you will everyone here to help and very friendly :frow

We had a slight issue at first with our male dog, he can be an a**hole at times. But we've been managing well so far, our two female dogs love the babies. Our neighbors bought the first goat, we couldn't help get a couple more.. They are really sweet animals! We got our polish set already grown so they don't really come to us unless they are feeding, as well as the ducks.

Hi Anthony and Jamie, and welcome to BYC!

Glad you could join the BYC flock! Sounds like you have a nice little farm so far. You have some lovely breeds of chicken. Wyandottes are my favorite standard breed, because of their good egg production, beautiful coloration, and good temperaments. All your other breeds have reputations for gentle behavior as well.

I've never kept raise geese and turkeys before, but have always wanted to.

Goats are such interesting creatures, too! I helped take care of some this past summer and really enjoyed their temperaments and personalities.

Welcome to our community and good luck with all your animals! Hope you enjoy BYC as much as we have.
