Greeting, Chejoanne, and [IMG]! Pleased you joined our community! As a chicken newbie I think the place you should visit is the Learning Center here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center It is loaded with great informative articles covering a wide range of chicken-related topics that will help you in your journey. Best wishes and thanks for joining BYC!! [IMG]

It's nice you found us! What breed of chickens are you planning to breed Chejoanne? I agree with redsoxs, the best place to start is in the Learning Center.

G’Day from down under Chejoanne [IMG] Welcome!

I agree that the Learning Centre is a great place to start and wish you the best of luck with your chicken venture.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends [IMG]
