I am a goose owner, I have 3 chinese white geese and they are approximately 5 years old. they had a baby last year and it died from unknown reasons they had just one this year also and it was growing and eating good but I noticed yesterday it looked red at its wings and then today when I came home from shopping it was lying on the ground and I thought it was dead but I checked and he moved around some but seems very weak. then I noticed it has a pustule on its beak and a dark spot about the size of a small pea. like a mole or growth.
he was dirty looking so I took him inside and bath him and tried to get him to eat but he is not eating.
I wrapped him up in a blanket and am holding him to warm him. do you have any ideas? What can I do?
his stool was loose and green. he can cheap still.

Welcome to BYC from middle Tennessee:frow Sorry to hear about your goose. Definitely follow kikis advice--but I'd also give it a dose of nutri drench while waiting for an answer.

I'm so sorry, Doris. I know nothing about geese to help you, but welcome to the forum and I hope you can get some advice and do something to save your bird. Do you have an avian vet you can go to?

I know nothing about geese but is it possible one or both parents are injuring him? Not all parents are good ones.

Thank you all for the comment/replies. I believe he may have been injured by his parents too. I have seen them step on him.

Just an update, my baby goose died yesterday morning. His parents must have stepped on him.
