Hi everyone,
My name is BJ and I live in Paso Robles CA. Currently we have 6 chickens: 2 Welsummer, 2 Moran, 1 Silver Wyandotte, 1 Golden Sex Link. They are all 2 years old and great layers. I will be getting 6 new chicks this week. We also have 3 dogs & 2 cats. I enjoy organic gardening, horseback riding, fly fishing, photography, reading, writing, traveling, and camping. Looking forward to being a part of this (chicken) community in order to be a better steward to our flock.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

I note you mention you are in Paso Robles CA, but if you include your general location on your profile, this will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
