I just registered and thought I share my chicken info.
We bought 4 chicks for my children last year around Easter time. Now, I have a flock of 8 chickens and raising 12 six weeks old chicks that were incubated(all Leghorn crosses-my rooster is a Leghorn). I love having chickens and fresh egg and will admit I like checking for eggs just as much as my children do. Sometimes my son and I will race to see who can get to the coop first(he always wins

I've been checking out this website ever since we bought our chickens last year. I was surprised that not only did I like reading about chickens and looking at their pictures, but other people did too.
I'm hoping to post some pictures in the gender/breed section to see if people can help me figure out my baby chicks.
