(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I had a bantam chicken as a child but this is my first time raising as an adult
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I've lost count! My last number tettered on 75, but I'm in "Hey look! A chicken!" Mode. I also have 14 ducks
(3) What breeds do you have?
Asian blacks, bared rock, brown leghorn, silkies, easter eggers, assorted bantams, assorted ducks
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are so much fun and relaxing to watch!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, gaming, computer building
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm a mother of 4, and we're all big gamers and Dr. Who fans! We currently have no other pets but may get a guard dog in the future. We live within city limits but thankfully have a decent size yard. I saw baby chicks at tractor supply and couldn't buy just one, it became almost an addiction!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
One of our baby chicks head gotten sick about a month ago and we couldn't find a vet in the area to look at it, so we tried to look online to save it and found you guys
