Hi everyone!

My name is Jennifer and I'm new the to the Backyard Chickens community.
My intention is to gain some insight and knowledge on raising chickens and the profit potential as I am seeking new business opportunities in poultry!
I am from Ontario, Canada so if anyone has any knowledge about the market potential for meat birds in southern Ontario I'd love to hear what you have to say!

I grew up on a farm (with horses, pigs and cash crops) and we occasionally would get 15-20 chicks and raise them as meat birds. This was many years ago and I remember loving the process of raising them. I want to pursue a career in agriculture and livestock and was wondering if chickens would be a good way to go! I'm just exploring some opportunities!
