Hi everyone my name is Dylan , i first got into chickens when i was about 12 years old with my original flock that consisted of Rhode Island reds, delawares , golden laced polish, silkies , turkeys , Ringneck Pheasants Bobwhite quail and a single red golden pheasant male . Im not too sure on my current number . Right now my flock consist of mostly pairs , i have heritage buff orpingtons , silkies ( various colors ) , barred rocks , silver spangled spitzhauben, old English, a frizzle rooster , french black copper marans , lavander amerucanas , ringnecks, coutrnix quail , golden Pheasants , turkeys seramas . My favourite aspects about raising backyard chickens is connecting with people who like poultry . Some of my other hobbies include hiking , anything outdoors really .the other animals i have as pets are a male and female pygmy goat . I first found out about BYC a month or so ago when i got into coutrnix and its helped me out alot since so I figured its time i join this awesome community
They do somewhat but its a joy seeing so many of my favourite breeds every day
