New Member Introduction

Hello, Bev, and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
I see a fellow Dobie lover here, beautiful dog... My husband is a retired K-9 officer and dog trainer. We have had many Dobermans over the years (mostly all rescues) but did get a couple for breeding (which we only did a couple times - lots of work!). Loved them all and dearly miss them.

All I've ever done is rescue.
Bella is the most recent. She was flown to NY from the kennel in Serbia where she was born, bred 3 times regardless that she needed a C-section each time and when a ligament let loose in her uterus she's suddenly up for adoption. She was a hot mess when I got her and now she is a glorious happy girl loving life!

We used to rescue Dobermans and German Shepherds, had some truly loving companions. Now we are older and my hubby isn't able to do the work. Always happy to meet another rescuer, not enough out there! Lots of luck, nice talking to you.
