Hello, I go by Roux on socials! I'm from Texas.
1- I started with a small flock in 2017, I remember as a kid I wanted a pet bird for the longest time I could remember and wasn't expecting chickens. And honestly I'm glad to have gotten them!
2- A lot. I'd definitely say over 50. We are a small business after all.
3- Various (I plan to edit them all in, why not LOL), though some of them are White Leghorns, Easter Eggers, Black Stars, Barred Rocks, Black Sumatras, Black+Blue+Splash Ameraucanas, some Bantams, two Frizzles, Faverolles, Rhode Island Reds, White Delawares, Russian Orloffs, and some others. We have a LOT and focus on heritage breeds.
4+5- Helping and handling the birds has to be a hobby now because I enjoy them. I also like to draw and play games as other hobbies though.
6+7- It's me and my parents, since we added more birds I recently had gone out more to help more. We do have a few turkeys and ducks as well. There's also great pyrenees, pair of donkeys, sheep, pigs, and one old cat. I've also found this site when I was looking for advice or help on some things for birds. It's just today I decided to join.
