Hi everyone! I joined this forum to answer a question someone had posted about, and now I will answer the new member question prompts:
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Unfortunately, my current housing situation does not allow chickens, but I hope to someday be able to raise some!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
See answer to (1) above. I have zero chickens right now.
(3) What breeds do you have?
N/A
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
N/A, but if I had chickens I think my favorite parts would be making sure they have the best life I could provide for them, and having access to delicious fresh eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like crafts (mostly paper crafts, but dabbling in sewing and knitting), video games, and collecting cute plushies.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I currently don’t have any pets where I live, but while I was growing up, my parents had 2 cats (big friendly orange tabby and standard issue grey tabby) and a dog (a labradoodle). I work in an office making 3D models and technical drawings of parts for manufacturing.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC through a Reddit link! I joined because I had an answer to a question someone posted on here, and I had to make an account to reply to them. But I hope to someday have chickens, and this seems like a great community and resource for information!
