Do you think it’s safe to open the incubator to take out the plastic egg divider/turner thingy?? I realized I accidentally left that in.. and I am worried my chickies will get tangled/hurt themselves with it in there!
Be quick about it, but I'd definitely remove anything the chicks could get entangled in. I usually have a water spray bottle filled with warm water when I need to open the incubator lid during pipping, give a quick light spray to the inside lid and eggs before shutting the lid.

You've got some nice breeds. What kind are you hatching? Are those some Olive Eggers in there?

Congrats on the pips! Glad you got some good advice from @TwoCrows about taking out the egg turner.

It's nice to have you here! I love all your hobbies. Welcome to BackYard Chickens!

If I’m honest with you, I have no idea what the breeds are! I took some eggs from my parents’ farm and just hoped they’d hatch! So far, two have hatched & they’re wreaking havoc in the incubator 🤣
