I can relate. When we were putting together the order for our breeding flock Honey thought it would be cool to get some Cornish X because of how fast they finished out. We then had daily--unhappy--adventures playing a faster game called "butcher before they keel." As for the FuzzyFarm our official verdict on what we dubbed the "monster mutant meat birds"...never again! Gonna stick with our dual purpose heavy "Frankenbirds" (mixes.)
Out of respect for the Cornish x's and those who love them--all I can say is "wow"--good job! We do have a neighbor whose always do fine. Another neighbor tried them and had the same issues we did. Now she loves her standard cornish.
