Hi, im here to learn as much as possible about chickens. I currently have 2 RIRs (one cock, one hen) 2 Ameraucanas (both hens) a buff orpington hen, and an easter egger hen. I've always had chickens and I know all the basics. This summer I plan to build a new coop, go to one type of bird, and start a meat pen. I just want to know what the best breeds for egg production and brooding is, and what breed is best for meat. Thanks for welcoming me, and im extremely excited to learn!
