I like to encourage people and help them get a start with my breeds of choice. I love my birds and I love hatching them. I am always eager to help someone get started. Some years ago I was working with the 4-H and FFA and some of the birds placed well at the shows. It makes me feel good to see the young people really get into their birds.

So great of you to do that. I want to hatch some chicks at school for my students. Maybe one of my 144 students will grow up to like chickens.

I gave some eggs to a teacher here for her to hatch in her classroom. She was also involved in the 4-H and they wanted to enter them in the Southeastern Youth Fair. They enjoyed it so much she came back for more eggs.
