New Member - Lemon Orpingtons

Howdy!

It's been a long time since I have had chickens -but I am excited to start up this adventure with 9 precious little Orpingtons. There is a lot I need to catch up on, but I am excited to be here.

Any fellow Orpington families out there? Anything specific about this breed that I need to be aware of?

Welcome & Congratulations!

Sorry, I have no experience with Orpington’s but if you pop ‘Orpington Thread’ into the BYC search option, there appears to be a couple of active threads on the breed that you might like to join.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

You can check out the review forum at the top of this age. Folks describe what breeds they have and list the pros and cons. Very helpful.
