We've decided to build a coop!
Going to convert an old shearing shed and pen to the coop and run. Ill start a build thread and shall have plenty of questions!
In the mean time, here is a picture of what I am starting out with. I just got 200' of 4', 1/4" galvanized hardware cloth to sheath the thing with. Between that, the goat wire fence, and concrete floor of the coop it ought to be pretty secure. Figuring out the coop design and learning to care for the birds will be much more difficult.
Anyways, have read the forum off and on for years, and am excited to get after it!
