Hi, just wanted to thank everyone for all the info that I have been using in raising our first batch of chickens. From breed info, coop designs, feeding questions, and many more things, I have found this site to be invaluable. Could not thank everyone enough.

Glad you could join the flock! That's so nice to hear you have found BYC so helpful, it's full of really helpful and knowledgeable members and I'm so pleased it has helped you with your first batch of chickens. What breed/s do you have?

Many of us were lurkers before joining. I was one for 2 years and so wish I had done sooner. Wishing you the very best of luck in the future. Be sure to ask any questions that you may have. Everyone here to help and very friendly.

Thanks so much for the welcome. We have three buff orpintons, one golden comet, and an EE. We got them at the end of February and we waited and waited for eggs. In the last three days, we went from no eggs at all to two eggs this morning. We were so excited, calling family, it really was shameful how excited we were!
