Hello! I'm new here and am loving all of the information! We're setting up our 1st coop. I have a lavender/black Orpington pullet. I'm in Lenoir City TN - looking for reputable sellers. Thank you!

Welcome to BYC. Good luck in obtaining silkies from local sources others have provided.

Silkies are extremely difficult to sex early. Generally 4-5 mos. of age is the best time to check for gender. Although sometimes you can't tell till they lay eggs or crow. It is what it is!!
