We are new to chickens and just picked up 11 chicks yesterday!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 11 chicks.
(3) What breeds do you have?
All 11 are different breeds, almost.
Australorp, Amercucana, Brahma, Wellsummer, Leghorn, Golden Laced Wyandotte, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Plymouth Blue, Calico Princess, Midnight Majestic Maran, and New Hampshire Red.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I sew, crochet, knit, garden, bake. My husband is a private pilot and a volunteer firefighter and EMT.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have 2 children, 1 German Shepherd, 4 Siberian Huskies and a rabbit!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I googled information on raising backyard chickens and you were the first that showed up! I also noticed a facebook friend was a member so I joined! I have already found a ton of information!
