new member, new chicken mama

howdy, from the Great State of Texas!
i just got 8 hens and 1 rooster last week.
2 amercaunas
2 golden sex
1 blue laced red Wyandattes
1 blue laced Wyandattes
1 speckled Sussex
and a Barred Rock hen and rooster

This is my first time to own chickens and i am looking forward to watching them grow and lay eggs.
It is pretty warm here. My Chickie's are 5 weeks old with lots of feathers. is it too soon to put them in a coop?
