New member! Not new to chickens.

We are new to this community but not new to chickens. I’ve been a vet tech at a country care clinic locally and she raises hundreds of chickens! I know alot but still want to learn more! I no longer work there because I homeschool our 6 children and we have a compact little city farmer life going on here!

How wonderful that you have vet tech skills and worked with a vet who actually has chickens! It's difficult to find vets here who will even see chickens; I've only met one who had her own poultry.

I can't imagine how great your organizational skills must be able to homeschool six children -- and still have energy left over to care for chickens.
