Hi, everyone! I am new to chickens. I picked up my first flock of 8 chicks this past weekend. I have four breeds: Sapphire Olive Egger, Red Blue Laced Wynadotte, Buff Orpington, and Ameraucana.

So far, my favorite aspect of raising chickens is having them as companions. Eggs are a bonus.
