Thanks for the welcome everybody. We're excited to see how this is all going to go. I originally wanted more chickens, but I think eight is a good place to start. We should have all the eggs we need and more, plus I need to make sure my plan for their living situation works out.

We can always add more! I think the next will probably be either Welsummers or Barnevelders.
