New Member prepping for some chicks!

I'm glad you joined our "flock!"

You should certainly enjoy the breeds you've chosen! In particular, I've always enjoyed Wyandottes due to their beautiful appearances, productivity, gentleness, and hardiness. Orpingtons tend to be docile, productive egg layers, too. Silkies go broody often and generally make good mothers, so if you ever want to hatch some chicks, you would have your own natural incubator.

Got my babies today!!!! Ended up with a Barred Rock, 2 Wyandottes, and a Welsummer. Hoping they all get a long. So far they are doing well, the Welsummer seems to be agressive and bossier than the other 3. Excited to see how they do
