New Member, Pullets?

At 13 weeks, no one's screaming rooster. You're probably pretty safe

That's good news. I'll try and get a full body shot of the GLW to post tomorrow.

Thank you again, all. :)

Cute birds. At 13 weeks old it won't be long before they begin laying. Maybe anytime after 16 or 17 weeks they may be laying you some breakfast. : ) Welcome to chicken ownership. I just made it through my first year as a new chicken owner and find BYC an indispensable tool to help learn about chickens and care.

Still up the air about GLW. Body posture seems like girl.... comb looks questionable....Maybe it is a she and she will just be an early layer?...? humm

Thank you everyone. I was able to pick up the GLW today, and noticed what I'm assuming are spurs. Time to contact the breeder? (He guaranteed pullets and is happy to exchange should one end up a cockerel).
I'm assuming that spurs are a pretty final indicator? Lol
