new member, rooster recently, hens are not laying.

Three of my four Amberlink hens have not been laying since a rooster was added (not Amberlink) about two weeks ago. Is the rooster the reason they are no tlaying?

The hens not laying could be just a coincidence. I was in the farmers co-op today and it seems a lot of layers locally in this heat are no longer laying like they have been. Mine included. I even bumped the protein up to a 27% feed and nothing changed. It's not the feed, it is the weather.
