Hello all!
My boyfriend and I have been keeping chickens, ducks and guinea fowl for about three years now. We just recently hatched 6 Japanese quail.
Currently, we have around 23 chickens and 6 quail. The chickens are a black copper Maran rooster, Dominique hens, and Americanna and the rest are their offspring.
I found backyard chickens from my boyfriend, he has been linked here through google searching.
Aside from the birds I also enjoy kayaking, ukulele and poi spinning. We have 4 cats and two dogs along with our flock. I joined BYC in order to seek out new breeds and have a community to learn from.
I look forward to interacting with you guys!
