I'm new to backyard chickens and chicken keeping.
I have wanted to keep chickens since childhood (in fact I wanted to live on a farm when I grew up). I would still love to homestead but unfortunately my family are resistant to this and so instead I work in IT......not remotely close to my main passion but it's a good job.
We have 4 X 15 week old of Rhode Rock, Bason White, Barred Rock and an ISA who is already my favourite! We also have 1 week old Bantam chicks we think 1 X golden Wyandotte, 1x silver Wyandotte and 2 x Pekin (Cochin).
Off to ask my first question.....
