New Member says hi!!

Hi there all, I am a new member. I have some baby chicks coming in a few weeks and I am worried about how to care for them until they can go into their coop. Any pointers on how to care for them and not spend lots and lots of money to do so??

Welcome to BYC

We kept our chicks inside our Florida room until they were ready to go outside. First into a chicken tractor then to a coop and pen.

Hi from Colorado! My babies spend their first 2 months in a huge plastic water tank (the horses don't miss it) with a heat lamp. Then they go to a pen in the coop in the stall in the barn. They just decided they'd had enough and escaped into the stall with the big girls. Have fun
