new member to BYC with a broody?

Hello and Welcome To BYC! X2 what TwoCrows suggested. Also give her a good overall exam, compare her to your other bird that is laying and acting normally, how is her body condition and weight, how does her abdomen feel etc.

we only have the two hens.we live in a suburban area. The family actually thought that the hen was hoping hasn't laid yet was going to be first. She is larger than the her buddy. She has a very red comb and wattles.

They don't havr lice or mites

They are fed layer with a little mix of pullet mash leftover from when they were younger. As well as Scraps, we eat z a lot of rice so that is mixed with oats and pellets and they love it.

They get fruit and mealworms as well and are free range in our backyard

They have a secure coop and are quite smart actually

ok. she is definitly broody. i gave her a fake ceramic egg and she immediately pulled the egg under her chest with her beak.
i thought isa browns didnt get broody? we do love her very much and we dont want to give her away. can somebody please help?
she is sitting on no eggs at the moment. her best friend is with her in the coop.
