I did not have her tested but did go speak to someone who knows a lot more than I do (ok, that's funny because I am such a rookie) at my feed store. I sat with him and went through all the details I could and from his questions and my answers it seems my girls from the auction may have come to me with a parasite or picked it up in my yard. Just based on timing it's hard to say. But from the signs and symptoms this seems to be most likely.
I bought the antibiotic to put some in their food and water so all the birds will get treated. After a week of this treatment I can worm them. I didn't realize the birds would get their own calendar around here![]()
On another note...while at the store I picked up 4 babies. I am keeping them inside for awhile before I introduce them to the others. I think I'm getting addicted to these birds![]()
