Thanks, Cynthia! I visited them lat night to get them used to me. It was so cool to see them just cruise into the coop. Once there, I was able to pick them up and love on them. We are moving them this weekend. I'm BEYOND excited!!! I was told they were easy and pretty smart. They showed me last night lol. I already have a favorite (don't judge- she chose me!!)Bookmarked! Great reading.Thank you for sharing! About getting those girls of yours comfortable in their new place, I don't have to do much for them, really, they are chickens. You will see just that as soon as you put them down. They will start pecking at the ground, looking for something. Soon though, you will have them decision who belongs where in the group. No biggy as long as their is no feather pulling! Nope, not fair, no feather pulling.
At night, I put them on a roost in the coop. Usually only take s a couple of times, then they know where to sleep..sometimes, only once..folks don't give chickens enough credit for their smarts! Good luck, don't worry too much, they will get it.
Enjoy!
