Greetings, all, I'm in NH, have seven girls, no rooster (anymore) have three one year olds laying, and three 2-3 year olds who are laying on and off...one of the older girls has twice now layed a large egg that opened up to reveal this...is this a failed attempt at a double yolk? Extra membrane? The white blob is like a fluid filled sac. Without a roo I know it's not a failed chick unless they are immaculate chickens...thoughts? Thanks!
