Hi there and
welcome-byc.gif
! We're glad you could join the flock!

Hello, my name is Ellie. I just joined backyard chicken group but I used to search and learn a lot from this useful website. I have around 30 chickens in my garden. At the monent 3 roosters, 11 hens and 16 chicks. I started raising chickens from 2013. I stopped giving them commercial food and I am giving them half boild rice, chives, bread and two times a week corn and eggshell powder . They seem they are happy. I bought 2 bohemian hens and 1 rooster 3 weeks ago after a few days my rooster eyes shut down and one of the hen looks lethargic. So I seperated them from the rest and started treating them individually. Rooster's eys looks better but still uncomfortable. And my hen started feeding by syringe 4 times a day. She looks much better but still sits most of the times.please advise me in this matter if you had the same issue before or right now.
I love my pets and enjoy looking after them. I am glad joining and looking forward to learn from you and sharing my experiences.
Ellie.

Hi Ellie. here is a link where you can get information about how to help your rooster and hen. Just let them know what is going on and they will give you some great information on what to do.
