New member with young flock

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
If you'd like some advice about the crop issue, you can find it here: Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures

Sorry for the loss you've had...if it's any consolation, birds are very good about hiding health problems so don't be too hard on yourself.

Best wishes!
Really appreciate that - I'm deep in to crop threads, especially the amazingly detailed, fairly comprehensive guide: https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...ntion-and-treatments-of-crop-disorders.67194/

We're on day 2 of isolation and treatment for Cherry, her crop was about half as big as it was prior to starting treatment and we're busy hydrating her and feeding her the lemon/spice concoction every few hours with the hopes of a clear crop tomorrow morning. Then on to slow introduction of probiotics and some protein to hopefully help her get some much needed calories and positive bacteria.

All a learning process, we just hope she's not in pain and not too bored sitting in a cage in the garage :)
