New member! Yeeey!!

Hi chicken lovers, I am new member from Zimbabwe. I have some interest in the past but now I want to raise my own chickens. I have 6 (3 blue astros and 3 mixed brahmas). Not sure yet the sex distribution but will soon find out as they mature. I will also be getting chicks in mid Aug and Sept but not sure which breeds yet. I hope to learn a lot from you all! Attached are not mine but a friend's in rural Zimbabwe.

Currently building a residential house (just started) and am hoping to get a puppy (Boerboel )

I have a bulldog and a couple of boxers, they are a handful, and require a lot of management. I can't imagine raising a Boerboel.
