Hi there,
I'm Jessica from AZ. I have 7 chickens all about 8 weeks old. All different breeds. It's my first time raising chickens and I'm sure I will have lots of questions along the way!
I posted a question in the breed and rooster hen forum I'd love to see what y'all think!

Hi Jessica, nice to meet. Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens. If you post photos of your chicks, we'd be glad to try and ID them for you. Or you could post at "what breed or gender if this."

Welcome to BYC, Jessica. Glad you decided to join our flock. My daughter's name is Jessica.) I took a look at your post in What Breed or Gender is This? and I'm sorry to say that your Easter Egger is definitely a cockerel.( If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is loads of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Sugar unsure if Australorp or Jersey Giant
Check the bottoms of Sugar's feet. If they are an obvious yellow, Sugar is a Black Jersey Giant. If the bottoms of the feet are any other color (whitish, pinkish, grayish), Sugar is a Black Australorp (more likely). You have a beautiful flock. Thanks for posting the pics.)
