We have 3 girls in a little coop. Hoping to get our first eggs soon as they are 19 & 20 weeks old.

Glad you could join the flock! Waiting for those first eggs sure can seem to take an age When you do find those little treasures it's so exciting!! I still get giddy when I find one from a new layer. You would think I had never seen an egg before!!

Have a little more time to post... Our three girls are Golden laced Wynadotte, a polish top hat and a red star. they are good girls. Our coop is kind of small but we let them out whenever we can so they seem pretty happy.

Your red star (a sex link girl) will give you nice big brown eggs once she starts. If I remember correctly, our 3 were about 20-22 weeks old when they first laid.
