Hi all my name is dave and live in South Yorkshire. I've currently got 5 chickens (I had 6 but Mr Fox took one)

I've had my hens for 6 months and they have large area within my horses field to roam and cluck.

My horse loves to stand and watch them scratch around.

I'm still reletively new so any advice is very welcome :)

Great to have another poultry lover!

Sorry for your loss. Once a predator finds lunch, it will keep coming back until it is stopped permanently, or you run out of birds. You may want to check out the predator threads for ways to keep the fox away.

Hi Dave and welcome to BYC, from another Tyke.

You'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre (even if you have lots of experience)
https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center, and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.
